Founded in early 2016, Civil Infrastructure Group is a specialist subcontracting company dedicated to the construction of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete structures. Our friendly and customer-focused approach sets us apart, as we prioritize engineering support and site safety to deliver innovative and high-quality projects.
With a team of founding partners who collectively possess over 100 years of industry knowledge and experience in engineering, design, tendering, and project delivery, we have quickly established strong relationships with numerous tier 1 and tier 2 contractors through our existing networks.
At CIG, we offer a comprehensive range of services including Form/Reo/Pour, Piling, and Steel Fabrication. By combining these capacities, we provide clients with the opportunity to streamline their projects by consolidating multiple subcontract packages. This approach minimizes subcontractor interface, improves management efficiency, and simplifies project timelines.
We firmly believe that building lasting relationships with both our clients and staff is crucial to our success. Our ultimate goal is to become the industry’s premier construction contractor, attracting the best talent and forging strong partnerships with clients who value our expertise and dedication.
With an unwavering commitment to engineering excellence, we actively participate in every phase of the project. By self-performing the majority of our work, we can reduce costs while developing and maintaining the necessary skills at both the management and site levels. Currently, our team consists of over 50 experienced engineers and more than 10 undergraduate engineers. This diverse and skilled workforce enables us to deliver intelligent solutions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all our operations.

Vincent Pegan

General Manager
Vincent is a highly experienced civil construction professional with over 50 years of experience in steel works. His career began with attending night school for welding, and he has since worked on massive projects within Victoria, including the refurbishment of the Southern Stand at MCG and the first stages of the Western Ring Road.
Vincent’s extensive experience in the industry led him to start his own steel fabrication business in 1976. Today, he serves as the General Manager of CIGFAB, where he is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for all steel fabrication requirements.
As a leader at CIG, Vincent is known for his exceptional expertise in steel fabrication and his unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality products for clients. He is a respected industry expert and is often called upon to provide advice and guidance on complex steel fabrication projects.
